Keyboard Adapter and Serial / MIDI Interfaces
- epansion provides several DIN-type interfaces:
- 1× RS-232 serial interface, to interface with other computers (via SerNet, TwinExpress or other programs)
- 1× IBM PC/AT keyboard interface (5 pin DIN plug)
- 1× MIDI-In Interface
- 1× MIDI-Out Interface
- translates special PC keys to Amiga keys:
- F11 or F12 - Left / Right Amiga
- ScrollLock - Help
- Combination Ctrl+Alt+Delete is translated to Ctrl+Amiga+Amiga
- connects to the CD32 AUX port or A4000 keyboard port via Mini-DIN connector at a short cable
- power supply socket at the back, required only when not connected to CD32 (as the unit is powered from the CD32)
- required power supply: 7-12V / 250 mA
- two LEDs indicate serial data flow (yellow: data to CD32, green: from CD32)
- maximum speed of serial connection: 115 kBit/s
- 1.5m serial cable included

- no passthrough connector, i.e. parallel installation of the FMV module is not possible
- no serial connector (CD32 AUX port may be used)
