- Zorro I Expansion Chassis
- external upright case which provides two Zorro I slots - one is occupied with the 2 MB RAM card
- the slots are not buffered
- connects to the A1000 side expansion port
- passthrough connector to allow other expansion be attached to the side port
- optional external power supply (9V/1A), required for using the 2nd slot
- power LED indicator on front panel
- Notes
- the memory board in slot 1 generates clock signal for the bus and is required for the second slot to be compliant to the Zorro standard
- second slot could be used to add another Escort 2 RAM board (4 MB FastRAM in total), or to install an ST506 controller card - Escort 2HD
- if ST506 controller is used, the 5.25" hard disk is mounted in an external upright case of the same size as the Escort 2 chassis
- installing a second 4 MB board requires cutting 3 jumper links on the board
