RCS developed software (for example GigaMem and the peer-to-peer software AmigaNet 2.0), and solely made processor accelerators in the field of hardware. Beside that, the company was also distributing other kinds of Amiga peripherals - for example the AmigaNet networking card.
In 1991, the company sold the first 68040 board for Amiga 2000 - the Fusion Forty. Due to quality problems, the production of the Fusion Forty was dropped around 1993. There was also a 060 version of the Fusion Forty announced, but that never reached the market.
The Fusion Forty was used in the amigas which have done parallel rendering of images for the TV series 'Babylon 5' at Foundation Imaging.
