BSC was mainly producing IDE & SCSI expansions, I/O cards and memory cards. From 1993 on, AlfaData did the manufacturing of the expansions for them.
The ISDN Master rights were sold to ith Kommunikationstechnik before 1996 due to CE certification problems which demanded capital investment BSC couldn't afford.
The last business year before insolvency was the most successful one in the history of BSC, so there are rumors the insolvency had a fraudulent intent.
After the demise of BSC, one BSC employee (Stephan von Krawczynski) went to ith, four other employees to ABUnion. Most product rights of the company were transferred to AlfaData on the basis of a contract from 1993.
