    Sound Card
  • 24 bit sound card with high quality audio output which offers multiple analogue and digital interfaces
  • GUS officially stands for "Great Unbelievable Sound", but can also be read as a reference to the Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) sound cards of the 1990s with superior sound quality
  • 32 MB on-board sample memory, clocked at 122.2 MHz
  • high-quality digital mixer which operates at full 192kHz @ 24 bit resolution
  • 32 channel wavetable engine - featuring per voice:
    • 8 /16 bit sample support, 192kHz @ 24 bit mixing rate
    • sample start, stop and loop pointer for effective one-shot or continuous playback modes
    • 32 bit sample phase accumulators allows fine grained pitch definition
    • optional sample interpolation for smooth sounds
    • channel independent left / right stereo panning
    • hardware ADSR envelope generator
  • MP3/OGG/FLAC/WMA hardware decoder (VLSI VS1063), enhanced by a DMA stream buffer
  • inputs/outputs:
    • 1× RCA stereo output, converted from 192kHz @ 24 bit
    • 1× TOSLINK optical digital output, supporting 48kHz, 96kHz & 192kHz @ 24 bit
    • 3× analogue audio inputs, sampled at 192kHz @ 24 bit: Paula (internal header), CD-ROM (internal header), external source (external RCA input)
    • 1× digital output of final mix, to be used as input for other cards
  • AHI stream interface, supporting 8 /16 & 24 bit modes for playback and recording
  • mixer settings are stored in flash and automatically loaded on start-up - thus working without additional software
  • upgradable FPGA core via JTAG interface, or via Amiga-based flash tool
  • open hardware, gerbers and FPGA bitstream are freely available on Github
  • as the card does most of the tasks in hardware, the minimum system configuration is an A2000 with stock 68000 CPU @ 7.09 MHz, 1 MB ChipRAM and 4 MB FastRAM
  • driver support: AHI, MHI, CAMD (planned)

A600, A1200
Interface
PCMCIA
    RTG Graphics Card
  • FPGA-based RTG graphics card for the PCMCIA port
  • provides HDMI display output without opening the case or fitting an internal expansion
  • carries both picture and audio over HDMI
  • 32 MB display memory, made available through MMU bank switching (systems without an MMU are limited to a 4 MB framebuffer)
  • 64-bit hardware blitter rated at roughly 300 million pixels/second
  • full blitter and hardware sprite support, plus screen dragging with mode mixing
  • reaches performance comparable to Zorro III RTG cards on accelerated Amigas, despite the 16-bit interface
  • memory bandwidth: 3.5 MB/s on A600, <9.5 MB/s on A1200
    Screen Modes
  • 8, 16 and 32 bit color depth
  • freely configurable resolutions up to FullHD
    Notes
  • HDMI output connector
  • P96 RTG driver, developed in collaboration with Thomas Richter
  • requires P96 v3.3.0, recommended is ≥v3.6.2
  • open hardware, schematics and FPGA bitstream/driver source published on GitHub
  • optional injection-moulded case in different colors, sold separately
  • expansion requires 68020 @ 14 MHz, 4 MB FastRAM and Kickstart v3.1 - more RAM as well as a faster CPU is recommended
