Black Belt Systems was an american manufacturer of Amiga hardware.
The company was founded by Ben Williams in 1985 as SoftCircuits, Inc., and later renamed to Black Belt Systems when the company changed headquarters from Florida to Montana. As Ben was a martial arts instructor (Tae Kwon Do), the name of the company name was chosen accordingly.
The main focus of the company's product was image manipulation hardware and software.
